6/29/2005 | \”I\’ll dub in the applause track later\”

This Sunday, the recent acoustic songs we recorded for the Adventure Club will air. I believe we ended up recording \”Major Change\”, \”Resigned\”, \”Remind Me\”, \”Where\’s the Insight\”, and a butchered version of \”Out The Window\” by the Violent Femmes. Info here, if you dare.

Not too far off subject, my friend Steve recently dug up a cassette of him playing an atypical version of \”Sheena Is a Punk Rocker\” at a solo gig at Dave Art/Pawn back in 1989. Listen to this gem all the way through and it\’s interesting to note how much his audience sounds like one of ours.

(You may or may not know Steve from The Telefones.)

6/16/2005 | Back With More Words

Well, we\’re back online after a few days of nothingness. If I understood or even had the ability to understand what happened to cause such an outing, I\’d be explaining it right now, but instead, I\’ll just say that as far as I know, the website \”went BOOM\”.

But we\’re back.

The last couple of entries (as well as some updates on the Shows page) were lost in the madness, but it\’s probably just as well, because I have a tendency to write way more words than are necessary to relay simple information. Take this paragraph, for instance.

Anyway, here\’s all you need to know:

1. We are going on tour with Darlington in July/August. Both coasts and some places in between. Check the Shows page for dates, cities and info(although, it\’s all still being updated and is changing slightly as the confirmations and rejections come in).

and 2. This website is working again.
